- Unsupervised anomaly detection and CT simulation for data-efficient feature segmentation in quality inspection / manufacturing settings
- A lecture series on the mathematics and practical aspects of generative modeling at TUM.ai (We're also planning to explore Sobel-based loss functions for better reconstruction and faster convergence of generative models.)
Academically, I'm interested in machine learning in 3D settings, especially on dense voxel grids. Even though progress here has huge impact on the medical domain and manufacturing, I think the modality will likely not be solved by foundation models in the near future due to poor data availability and heavy resource requirements.
