I'm a last year computer science master's student at TU Munich. Currently, I'm ...

  • working on 4D surgical scene understanding from monocular laparoscopic video with TUM.ai and TUM CAMP
  • doing a research internship to work on deep learning based mutual information estimation for medical images with Reuben Dorent at Inria / Paris Brain Institute ARAMIS Lab and Nazim Haouchine at the Harvard Medical School Surgical Planning Lab

So far, I've had a strong focus on machine learning for 3D computer vision in my studies. Last year, I started working in medical applications and I really enjoy it. That's why I'm looking to start a PhD in the area after finishing my master's in autumn 2026. Currently, I'm still exploring if I want to go more towards computer-aided interventions or classical medical image computing.
